What is Yodle.org?

Over the last 5 years, we at Yodle have worked with thousands of local business owners, and we've gotten to know what they care about. Giving back to the local community is high up on the list. Inspired by our local business customers, Yodle has taken on the task of learning how we can give back to our local office communities. This site is the virtual home of the charitable efforts made by the more than 300 Yodlers around the country. On Yodle.org you will find events and stories of Yodlers in their local communities giving back. Take a look around!

Yodle Charlotte Blood Drive

Feb 01 2010

yodleYodle not only supports local business, but also local non-profits. Thirteen Yodlers from the Charlotte Office recently donated blood to the Community Blood Center of the Carolinas, which supplies 90% of the blood used by local hospitals in Charlotte. The connection to the organization was made when Ron Merritt, Regional Vice President of Sales and Jessica Stone, Account Director, Strategic Partner Programs met a CBCC representative at a community event.

Yodlers Catlin Whitt, Kelley Eisenmenger, Joel Bradbury, John Bradley, Elizabeth Pena, Brian Royer, Taylor Hess, Rick Casta, Sara Westerburg, Jeremy Coggin, Sara Koloda, Russell Tvedt, and Aime Guidry, took on the task of organizing the blood drive not just for Yodle Charlotte, but for the entire building where the office is located.

The experience was so positive and rewarding that they have already taken the next step and scheduled a second blood drive for the summer time. “Donating Blood is important, and we were thrilled to be able to give back to our community” said Caitlin Whitt, one of the event organizers.
