What is Yodle.org?

Over the last 5 years, we at Yodle have worked with thousands of local business owners, and we've gotten to know what they care about. Giving back to the local community is high up on the list. Inspired by our local business customers, Yodle has taken on the task of learning how we can give back to our local office communities. This site is the virtual home of the charitable efforts made by the more than 300 Yodlers around the country. On Yodle.org you will find events and stories of Yodlers in their local communities giving back. Take a look around!

Yodlers Raise Money for Technology in Local Schools

Aug 31 2010

yodleYodle employees are committed to our customers and communities. We proved that in August when Yodle employees across our five U.S. offices teamed up to raise money that will bring technology to local classrooms! Through a partnership with donorschoose.org, an online platform where individuals and businesses can fund local projects, Yodlers raised nearly $4500 for classrooms located in each city Yodle has an office; New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, Scottsdale and Charlotte.

The funds Yodle’s employees raised were enough to provide new computers to a 6th grade class in the Bronx, 60 students in Boston and a special education class in Phoenix. It also enabled 50 students in Charlotte to purchase a new Elmo’s Document Camera and brought 25 students in Philadelphia much closer to receiving a new Interactive Whiteboard!

Many companies, big and small, give back to their local communities. Through our August project with DonorsChoose, Yodlers helped public school teachers around the country equip their students with technology to give them an equal opportunity to succeed.
