Over the last 5 years, we at Yodle have worked with thousands of local business owners, and we've gotten to know what they care about. Giving back to the local community is high up on the list. Inspired by our local business customers, Yodle has taken on the task of learning how we can give back to our local office communities. Yodlers are tackling many tasks as part of the Yodle Goes Green! initiatives. Some are centered on changing our behavior in the kitchen and in how we use disposable dishes/cups/silverware. Our Green Advocates strategized how to best create infrastructure in each office including:
- Encouraging Yodlers to bring cups/plates/bowls/silverware in from home.
- Buying reusable dishware for teams.
- Ordering food delivery in groups from sites like Delivery.com or Foodler.com.
- Providing communal space in kitchens for communal dishes!
